This app is poorly designed and programmed. Its slow, you dont get the name of the facility, and there are hardly ANY toilets in NYC. I mean yes I know they say only certian parts of the world right now and the data is growing, it does take time to gather data. But I mean come on, manhattan is a big one. SitOrSquat is the best toilet finder hands down that I know.

... This SHOULD be a good app. But even with the few listed in NYC, they are inaccurate. For example, the map indicator icon says the nearest bathroom is on Sullivan and w. 3rd St, but click on the icon and the address says its on W. 11th. Huh? Why dont they match. Some bathroom-finder algorithm doesnt match with Google maps. And seriously, its like that for ALL OF them in NYC. The MoCA is listed as being on Varick St???? Uh, no.

It may be useful if there were nothing else but I cannot use it because it would annoy me too much. A list of addresses is not useless bit it is annoying. They need to add names and descriptions. I do not want to go looking for an address only.

This is awesome and could be really fun! They should add a comments area to talk about what the restroom is like. Also needs more data.

A good start, nice interface. Suggest adding way of entering a location, not just using current location.

Useful to find highway rest stops in the US. Wish I could update info once its been submitted.

Great idea. Not so helpful. Sitting at a nys rest stop and it doesnt recognize it as a public bathroom. Probably will delete it.

Almost worthless. Restrooms near my home, (McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Arbys, Taco Time, service stations, etc.), dont show up at all.

Come on folks, the reason you cant find locations near you is because they havent been entered. This is an interactive app; everyone that uses it should be entering data for the next person. When you know of a location that isnt part of the database, just enter it. If everyone does that, pretty soon well all have the information we need.

This would be a great app if people didnt mess around and list private homes all over the area. A search from my home yielded only private homes when I know of 10 public restrooms around the corner on the main road.

Its extremely convenient when in an unfamiliar city or neighborhood!

It would be so much more user friendly if the name of the establishment was included rather than just the address. When in unfamiliar territory, the address doesnt mean much.

I wish that the app would search after you pan the map. The way it works now it only reports bathrooms close to your current location. Id like to see them for a place Im going to be in the future.

I wish it would have the names of the building or businesses that these are in because its hard to find the bathroom if it is in a congested area.

Im bit going to be too harsh because this first rev is good for immediate needs, however, the map overlay (at least in NYC) is terrible. Locations are not correctly mapped and often 4-13 streets off. If youre not familiar with the area youll be lost. users must cross reference address w another map app to find location. Business name integration would be helpful for search and find. Would like ability to sort by distance to your location - yet this wont help if the mapping functions arent fixed first. When you do get to the location, yes in fact there is a b-room thats usable to public, so theres that.

I agree that they name of the business or building should be indicated. Also, the days & hours the bathroom is available. Another thing that would be is the location within the business or what it is close too if not in a building. Otherwise I think this is a great idea. Sometimes you just need to stop.
